Who We Are ?
Celí Consulting is a family-driven consulting service founded by two independent professionals—husband and wife—working together under one shared trademark. We combine personal experience, professional expertise, and a deep understanding of international clients’ needs to provide reliable and practical consulting services in the Czech Republic.
ERICA CELÁ
Originally from Indonesia, I moved permanently to Brno in 2019 on a business visa. My journey to the Czech Republic began in 2018, when I first came as a student for a summer program at Charles University in Prague.
Over the years, I have personally experienced and handled many types of Czech residence permits, including student residence, business visa, family reunification (both before and after marriage), and ultimately permanent residence. This hands-on experience has given me a strong and practical understanding of the Czech immigration system from a client’s perspective.
I began my professional career in the Czech Republic as an English teacher with a trade license. Later, I transitioned into a full-time teaching position at a primary school and started cooperating with the Faculty of Business and Economics at Mendel University in Brno as an official representative for citizens of Indonesia and Japan.
In addition, I am actively involved in organizing cultural and educational events in cooperation with embassies and other institutions. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Culture, Society, and Media from Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (Japan), which strengthens my intercultural and educational background.
Because I deeply understand the education system, I am passionate about helping students study in the Czech Republic. In 2020, together with a colleague, I founded a study abroad service operating under the same trademark. We guide and support international students throughout their study journey in the Czech Republic. Our team is fluent in English, Indonesian, Chinese, and Japanese.

PETR CELÝ
I spent four years of my career working with foreigners as a Ministry of Interior officer. Then, my wife and I decided to create our own consulting service. My interest in this field developed through personal experience, starting when my wife (then my girlfriend) moved permanently to the Czech Republic in 2019 on a business visa. Together, we handled all administrative procedures ourselves, including multiple changes of residence permit types.
This professional and real-life experience motivated me to help others through our consulting services. Since then, I have worked on a wide range of residence and immigration cases for both EU and non-EU citizens—from straightforward applications to highly complex situations.
I hold a Master’s degree in Public Administrative Law from Masaryk University, which provides a strong legal foundation for my work. In addition to immigration matters, I also provide services as a licensed sales representative for Raiffeisen stavební spořitelna.
Together, we are able to provide clients with practical, experience-based guidance because we have personally gone through the processes we now help others navigate.
